Prior to joining Pacesetter Health, Sam served in a variety of roles at United Surgical Partners International (USPI) in operations, strategy, and managed care for more than 17 years. Most recently he served as a Regional Vice President, where he oversaw all financial, operational, clinical and growth aspects for 10 surgery centers in Texas and Louisiana. USPI is the largest ambulatory surgery platform in the country, with more than 465 short stay surgical facilities.
Prior to his most recent role, Sam served as the Chief Executive Officer of TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital (TOPS). As CEO he worked closely with physicians and staff to deliver exceptional outcomes in a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Sam earned a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Master of Management in Health Care from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
Prior to joining Pacesetter Health, Clete served as President of US Radiology in operational and business development roles, including primary oversight of Health System joint ventures and outpatient imaging centers. US Radiology operates over 180 outpatient imaging centers and is partnered with several hundred radiologists across 14 states. Clete served as President of Touchstone Medical Imaging prior to its acquisition by US Radiology, a leading outpatient imaging operator. He also served as the Chief Development Officer for RadNet and was a partner at KPMG.
Clete is a Board Member of Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering which is a premier educational center for training US veterans in biomedical engineering technology as well as The Warren Center, which advocates, serves and empowers children and their families impacted by development delays and disabilities.
Clete graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with high honors with a BBA in Accounting.
Dr. Lensing grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa and earned her undergraduate degree at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. She received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical Center in 2007. She then completed her three year surgical residency program at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado.
Dr. Lensing is trained in all aspects of the lower extremity including forefoot, rear foot and ankle reconstructive surgery; trauma; wound care and limb salvage surgery; sports medicine; pediatrics and arthroscopy. As part of her residency training, she also traveled twice to Mexico for the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project and provided surgical correction for pediatric deformities.
Dr. Lensing is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Nebraska Podiatric Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
She is licensed to practice in the state of Nebraska.
Jessica brings over 15 years of comprehensive HR experience to Pacesetter Health. Beginning her career in recruiting and most recently providing HR leadership to a team of 5 like-minded HR professionals at Distribution Management, Inc. Jessica focuses on Employee Relations, Compensation Planning, Benefits Administration, and Compliance. She has been certified as a Professional of Human Resources since 2010.
Jessica earned her BS from Purdue University and her MS in Human Resources Management from The University of Maryland.
Tyler brings over 10 years of investing experience to Pacesetter Health, having worked at a New York-based hedge fund; at Pamlico Capital, a middle-market private equity fund in Charlotte, North Carolina; and at an international investment bank.
Tyler earned his B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Prior to joining Pacesetter Health, Harrison served as Controller and Director of Strategic Finance at Carolina Center for ABA and Autism Treatment, a leading behavioral health provider in North Carolina. Previously, Harrison led finance and accounting integrations for SCA Health, a national outpatient surgery and specialty care provider.
Harrison earned his B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
Prior to Pacesetter Health, Thomas served as Manager of Support Services and Language Services at OhioHealth, one of the Midwest’s largest health systems. Previously, he held management positions at healthcare suppliers in the Midwest with emphasis on technology integration. Thomas’ background includes developing large-scale environmental sustainability programs in healthcare, a practice he is passionate about.
Thomas earned his B.A. from Wright State University and his M.B.A. from Franklin University.
Prior to Pacesetter Health, Mike was the Vice President of Podiatry Associates P.C., the leading podiatry practice in Denver, Colorado, which he helped grow — with his wife and partner Dr. Cynthia Oberholtzer-Classen from one location in 2000 to a multi-million dollar practice with several locations across the Denver area. Previously, Mike was the owner of a large, Colorado-based construction company and an executive at two multi-national oil and gas companies.
Mike earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and an M.B.A. in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. O. began practicing podiatry in 1996 and founded Denver-based Podiatry Associates, P.C. in 2000. With her husband and partner, Mike Classen, she grew Podiatry Associates to be the leading podiatry practice in the Denver area from one location to a multi-million dollar practice with several locations.
Dr. O. attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and earned a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry. Subsequently, she attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, where she received a B.S. and a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed her surgical residency at Riverside Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. O. is board certified in Foot Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Brent brings 14 years of experience in healthcare management and doctor relations to Pacesetter Health.
Most recently, Brent served in the optical industry as Area Manager for the Indiana market at Visionworks, a VSP Global company.
Prior to joining Pacesetter Health, Wade worked in defense contracting as a Sr. Systems Engineer for the US Air Force Air Mobility Command. His background also includes positions within Lockheed Martin and the Defense Information Systems Agency, as well as IT consulting for various small and medium sized businesses in the St. Louis area.
Wade earned his B.S., magna cum laude, and M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Nick brings over 10 years of podiatry and healthcare experience to Pacesetter Health, having previously served as Vice President and Co-Founder of DocShop Pro, a medical supply marketplace focused on enhancing podiatry practice profitability. Prior to DocShop, Nick served as Chief Operations Officer for Podiatry Super Group Management and co-founded Hedgehog Medical Websites.
Nick earned his B.A. from the University of Miami (Florida).
Stephanie brings over 18 years of diverse accounting and finance experience to Pacesetter Health. Most recently, Stephanie served as the Finance Manager for Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals, part of one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States. Previously, Stephanie was a Plan Controller for Centene, which serves as an intermediary for government-sponsored and privately insured health care programs. Her background also includes experience with SEC reporting, mergers and acquisition accounting, and audit.
Stephanie earned her B.S. from Central Methodist University and her M.S. in Accounting from Roosevelt University.
Carlie brings over 15 years of finance and accounting experience to Pacesetter Health, having most recently worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Electrical Components International, Inc., a private equity-owned wire harness manufacturing company. Previously, Carlie worked in finance and accounting roles at two other privately owned companies. Carlie started her career in public accounting in the audit practice at KPMG, LLP. Her background also includes experience with mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, board reporting, and providing business leaders with enhanced financial visibility.
Carlie earned her B.S. in Accounting and her Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri.
Conrad brings over 10 years of accounting experience to Pacesetter Health. Most recently, Conrad was the Corporate Accounting Manager for Centene Corporation, which serves as an intermediary for government-sponsored and privately insured health care programs. His background also includes experience with SEC and board reporting, accounting standard implementation, and M&A integration.
Conrad earned his B.S. in Accounting and his M.B.A. from Maryville University of St. Louis.
Peter brings over 8 years of corporate real estate and client management experience to Pacesetter Health. Most recently, Peter served as the Director of Transactions Management at Cushman & Wakefield, one of the largest real estate service providers, working on the Edward Jones account.
Peter earned his B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Miami University and his M.B.A from Washington University’s Olin School of Business.
Prior to Pacesetter Health, Charles served as President & CEO of Ethos Preparedness, a leading outcome-focused readiness solutions company offering specialty equipment, supplies, and services in the emergency preparedness industry. Previously, he held positions in private equity investing and management consulting. Charles is also a former officer in the U.S. Army and veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Charles earned his B.S. from The United States Military Academy at West Point, and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Treece brings 20+ years of progressive experience in healthcare administration to Pacesetter Health, having most recently served as Practice Administrator for San Antonio Podiatry. Prior to relocating to San Antonio, she spent ten years leading and growing a dynamic, successful Orthopedic practice in Northeast Texas where she integrated multiple subspecialties and in-house ancillaries. She has also held leadership roles in consulting, compliance and revenue cycle management. Treece holds a CPPM certification from AAPC and the HR Department of One credential from SHRM. She has previously held an NCT license from the state of Texas and a Registered Orthopedic Technician certification.
Dr. Daniel Logan graduated from The Ohio State University in 1997 where he attended as a Glenna Joyce Scholar earning a BA in Chemistry. He is a 2002 graduate of the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated Valedictorian. He then then completed residency training at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After joining Foot & Ankle Specialists of Central Ohio in 2005, Dr. Logan worked to expand the practice to include complex wound care as well as complex reconstructive surgery. Over the next decade he grew the practice into a multi physician and multi-location practice and a leading care center for complex foot and ankle pathology in Central Ohio.
Dr. Logan is a national speaker and an active researcher, having published many research studies in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a graduate of the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Logan is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery as well as Foot Surgery. He is also board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Logan is on the teaching faculty of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is the Fellowship Director for the Foot and Ankle Specialists of Central Ohio Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship. His research interests include studies in surgical outcomes, rare medical conditions, and public health. Dr. Logan’s clinical specialization includes minimally invasive surgery, deformity correction, and joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Krishna Mannava is the founder of Vive Vascular, based in Columbus, Ohio. After growing up in Cincinnati, he completed an accelerated BS/MD program at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. His general surgery residency training was at Case Western University Hospitals of Cleveland and he completed a two year vascular surgery fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. Dr. Mannava is considered a thought leader in his field and has been a proctor and consultant for several endovascular industry partners. He continues to hold academic teaching positions at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and also at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
While Dr. Mannava is able to provide a comprehensive range of vascular services, his special interests include amputation prevention for patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and providing patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) a durable dialysis access lifeline to enhance their quality of life. He lives in Columbus with his wife and two kids and enjoys golf, basketball and fitness.
Mark J. Lynn is currently an owner and operator of Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training in Louisville, KY. At Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training, Mark works with professional athletes including Louisville City FC (USL) & Racing FC (NWSL) as well as amateur athletes on their cognitive and visual performance.
Prior to this, Mark was the Chief Operations Officer for Dr. Mark Lynn & Associates where he oversaw day to day operations for over 90 Visionworks locations in 6 states. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Dayton, DMA from the University of North Texas, MM from the University of Memphis, and BM from the University of Louisville.
Leenie Becker, PhD, is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in leadership coaching, talent selection and development, and helping companies leverage their leadership teams to create welcoming and growth cultures. Leenie spent the first twenty years of her career at Anheuser Busch Companies, Inc., where she held a variety of senior human resources positions.
She has also been an active member for many years on the boards of St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness, December Magazine and The Nest (city day care center).
Dr. Lehrman, recently named one of America’s Most Influential Podiatrists, is in private practice in Fort Collins, CO and operates Lehrman Consulting, LLC which provides consultation services regarding coding, compliance and documentation. Dr. Lehrman is a Certified Professional Coder and he serves as a staff liaison at the AMA CPT Editorial Panel meetings where CPT codes are created, edited, and deleted.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and is recognized as a “Master” by the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management and an Expert Panelist on Codingline. Dr. Lehrman sits on the board of directors of the American Professional Wound Care Association and is a Past Chairman of the Board of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He is an adjunct clinical professor at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lehrman is also on the editorial advisory board of the journal WOUNDS and is a consulting editor for Podiatry Management magazine.
Dr. Scott Gurwin was born and raised in Central Ohio. He attended the Columbus Academy when, at a young age, he was inspired to become a Podiatrist. A local Podiatrist was a team physician for a traveling basketball team and became a mentor to Dr. Gurwin. He attended Emory University in Atlanta Georgia for his premedical training and graduated in 1989 with honors from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his specialty training at Universal Medical Center in Plantation Florida 1991. His training emphasis was on reconstructive foot surgery, general medicine as well as diabetic foot complications.
Dr. Gurwin is Board Certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association as well as the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association. He also enjoys working with the residents in the Grant Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.
Dr. Timothy Holmes received a Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus
Dr. Holmes is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, Ohio Podiatry Institute, Limb Salvage and Charcot Institute at Grant Medical Center, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a faculty member at the Grant Medical Center Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency and on staff at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
Dr. Syed A. Khader began practicing podiatry in 2005 and founded Kentucky/Indiana Foot and Ankle Specialists (“KYINFAS”) in December 2008. Over 12 years, Dr. Khader has built KYINFAS from a single physician office into the leading multi-location, multi-physician podiatry practice in the Kentucky/Indiana region.
Dr. Khader attended Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in Biology and an M.S in Biotechnology. Subsequently, he attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where he earned a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Khader completed his surgical residency at Loyola University Hospital, in Maywood, Illinois. He is board certified in podiatric medicine, wound care, and foot and ankle surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a founder of the KYINFAS fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. Dr. Khader lives in Louisville with his wife Fatima and their four children.
